It’s 2024, almost 2025, & smoking is an outdated, harmful habit that has no place in a modern, informed society. It devastates personal health, leading to lung cancer, emphysema, COPD, & premature ageing, while exposing non-smokers to the dangers of second-hand smoke. Smoking is not only selfish but also hugely damaging to the environment, polluting the air, littering the planet with toxic cigarette butts, & contributing to deforestation. Additionally, it still poses a very real fire risk, endangering lives & property. With all the evidence available today, it’s time to leave this harmful habit in the past where it belongs.
